This image is part of my portfolio of captures taken back in March of 2021, when a fellow photographer and I were capturing various ethereal scenes from the Hoboken Waterfront.

As it was close to the Spring Equinox, weather can change rapidly between warm and cold, and when that occurs, as it did that MISTerious morning, fog and mist were created, and that added so much drama to an already majestic capture.

Tech notes for those who might find some interest in such things: To create the silky smooth water surface of the Hudson River while the sun was already up, which can present a challenge for long exposures, I utilized my 10-stop filter which prevents a great deal of light to reach the sensor; which then gave me the ability to shoot in a slow shutter speed.
