Description

This Beaver Lodge which is located in Silvermine Lake is almost legendary for its life span.
As I was taking this shot, the occupants were not too thrilled with my presence, as the patriarch, or perhaps the matriarch was thrashing about its tail as a way to try to run me off.

I never like to intrude on anything or anyone's space, so I took care of business in short order, and came away with this capture!

Silvermine Lake is located in Harriman State Park, NY.
