After a delicious breakfast, I headed back to my cottage for a nap before heading out on a private trail to photograph different perspectives of the lake and some detailed images found along the shoreline. About 2/3rds into the trail, we paused with lunch and then picked up our shooting at a lookout point.
To capture this quiet and intimate scene, I pulled away from the group and bushwhacked my way to this spot. It was well worth the few scratches I incurred while barrelling my way towards this wonderful area.
Tech notes for those who might find some interest in such things: I used a polarizer filter to bring out the reflections and various items of interest in the foreground.
Adagio is a musical term to mean slow and deliberate. Hindsight being 20/20, I wish I was more deliberate in my haste getting to this opening. Less scratches would had been my reward. ;)
