Artist's Description
Every change of season in New York, I compile a list of locations that I plan on photographing.
For the Autumn, 2021 season, after some research, I came across the Ashokan Center, which is located in Olivebridge, NY near the Ashokan Reservoir.
After shooting the Ashokan-Turnwood Covered Bridge ( the reason for the excursion), I bushwhacked through the woods so that I could get as close to this waterfall as possible.
Finding my spot, I noticed this sawed off tree trunk, which served as a perfect foreground subject. The fallen leaves of autumn, reflections, and the waterfall in the background all added up to a wonderful photograph.
