Artist's Description
I first visited this county park, located in Warwick, NY over the summer, and promised myself that I would return in October, when all the trees would be ablaze in autumnal dress.
Arriving slightly after sunrise, I was not disappointed with what I was witnessing!
The colors were kaleidoscopic and lit up wonderfully under the low angle of the sun's rays.
The air was mostly calm, allowing for beautiful reflections upon Cascade Lake's surface, all the while a low front was approaching slowly, as it offered semi-dark clouds in the sky that served as the perfect backdrop to the trees, giving them an almost 3D effect.
I shot many more perspectives of this park, and I am looking forward to offering them to you soon.
