Autumn's Minnewaska Footbridge T-Shirt

After shooting at the Mohonk Preserve, I proceeded to head up to Minnewaska State Park ( @ a 7 minute drive) so that I could be waiting at the gate for the 9AM opening.

It was a classic mid-October morning with a gorgeous sky, soft filtered light, foliage near peak, hardly a breeze and very few people in the park. Needless to say, it was a Photographer's Nirvana.

My third stop along the Red Carriage Trail was this pedestrian footbridge that offers a shorter route to the cliffs for a bird's eye view of Lake Minnewaska. Unfortunately, this crossing was closed off due to structural damage, but it didn't matter to me as I wanted to shoot this perspective anyway. The footbridge looked glorious in the early morning light of October, with the surrounding trees sharing their colorful foliage.
