It was a classic mid-October morning with a gorgeous sky, soft filtered light, foliage near peak, hardly a breeze and very few people in the park. Needless to say, it was a Photographer's Nirvana.

My fourth stop along the Red Carriage Trail was this worn down Gazebo that offers an amazing and secluded vantage point of Lake Minnewaska below it.
As it was still very early in the morning, the gazebo, and the surrounding area were still in shadow, as the far shoreline was lighting up in a filtered October glow.
