Description
An added bonus that I discovered during my research, was this waterfall located in the northern end of Bryce Canyon N.P.
This trail is a pleasant one that is mostly flat 3/4's of the way and is less frequented. It was restored in the summer of 2000 after having been closed for a long time, due to partial destruction by a flash flood.
It follows a perennial creek meandering among a spectacular landscape of red spires, before reaching a deep alcove with green vegetation. A couple hundred yards before the alcove, a spur trail leads to the right to this beautiful cascade.
As I am from New York, I am used to seeing many waterfalls surrounded by a different landscape, not better, just different.
This was quite an unique treat for my friend and I.
