In my very first photography workshop, I learned a valuable lesson that I have adhered to, to this day. That being; never forget to walk slowly and look down at your feet, as there are so many hidden treasures waiting to be found! This capture is a prime example.
On my way back to my car, I stopped for a brief moment to look around, and bam, this detailed image caught my eye. The interplay of light and shadow on this small waterway was too good to pass up, so I set up once again, and put on my 6-stop ND filter to get a long exposure as the water flowed gently over the rocks and fallen leaves in the early morning light of an October Golden Hour.
