After arguing with myself for countless hours on whether or not I wanted to drive out to the Hawk's Nest in Deerpark, NY to photograph it in October, I finally convinced myself on a moody Saturday to do just that!

Needless to say, I was quite happy that I did. Although this landscape has been photographed a thousand times over, I wanted to put my own personal touch to it, and I believe I was successful in giving the viewer a sense of elevation, as if it was shot from a drone.
