Description
After a slow start to winter here in the Hudson Valley, New York, Mother Nature finally got her act together and started delivering a fairly consistent amount of snow.
We received approximately 3-4 inches of freshly fallen snow overnight into early morning; that was all I needed to travel a few miles to the picturesque landscape found at the "Scenic Black Dirt Region". This fertile farmland is also known as the "Drowned Lands". Feel free to read up on it in my "Scenic Black Dirt Region" gallery.
I chose to convert the original color image into black and white (Infrared Filter) to add more drama to my photograph. The clouds, tree, windmill and shadows were brought to more prominence against the fresh coating of fluffy snow.
The term "variazioni" is used musically to mean 'with variations/changes'.
I am honored to be able to offer my photography of the beautiful Hudson Valley in New York and beyond for all of your purchasing considerations.
All of my photographs are available as prints, wall art, home decor, apparel, weekend bags, etc and are NOW offered with a canvas border, title, electronic signature and the year it was taken in 'The Signature Series Gallery'. You may continue to buy my photographs as they have always been available prior in all of my other galleries as well.
