Description
On day one (and day four overall) in Yellowstone, we hit the picturesque Gibbon Falls after stopping at Terrace Springs and before hitting Norris Geyser Basin.
Plummeting 84 feet, the Gibbon River spills over a remnant of the Yellowstone Caldera-the mouth of the volcano that once formed, and will at some time in the future, reform all of Yellowstone...
This beautiful cascade is clearly visible on the east side of the road from a turnout overlooking the waterfalls.
